The Democratic Club of Queen Anne’s County will hold the monthly membership meeting on Thursday August 7, 2008 7:00 P.M. Anyone interested in learning more about our club or becoming a member, please feel free to stop in.

June 5th - Jim Smith, County Executive of Baltimore County since Dec. 2002 will be the guest speaker at the Queen Anne’s County Democratic Club’s monthly meeting. Mr. Smith has recently been active in such organizations as; member of the Advisory Council for Port Land-Use Development; Board of Visitors, R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, UMMS; Board of Directors, Baltimore Metropolitan Council, Member of Baltimore Regional Transportation Board. A graduate of the Univeristy of Maryland School of Law, Mr. Smith had an extensive law and judical career before becoming County Executive.

The Democratic Club May Membership Meeting will feature Delegate Rudy Cane as our monthly guest speaker. Delegate Cane represents Dorchester and Wicomico Counties in the Maryland Legislature and will offer a perspective on issues affecting the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland.
